9:00 am Family service – to help families worship together
o Informal dress
o Modern music
o Nursery featuring attendants trained in CPR
o Children’s sermon, after which children are dismissed to Sunday School
o Special music on various Sundays by the Locust Street Praise Band, the handbell choir, and the Joyful Voices women’s choir
11:00 am Traditional service – what you grew up with
o Organ music
o Full choir
o Traditional liturgy
o Nursery featuring attendants trained in CPR
o Special music on various Sundays by the chancel choir, the handbell choir, and the
Joyful Voices women’s choir
Both services feature the same dynamic Bible-based preaching geared toward practical ways to experience and demonstrate God’s love and power in everyday life.
Sunday School for all ages
o Infants may go to the nursery at any time
o Children come to the 9:00 service for worship and a children’s sermon, then are dismissed to Sunday School classes (High School class currently follows this schedule but may be changing soon)
o Adults meet in the Chapel (Room 211) at 9:15, then attend the 11:00 worship service
o Young adults meet in the Chapel during Coffee Hour, 10:15 – 10:45 am.
Coffee Hour features lots of good food and conversation in the auditorium from approximately 10:15am – 11:00 am.
The third Sunday evening of most months we gather as a church family at 5:30 pm for dinner and a variety of fun activities and programs. Check the events pages , bulletin or calendar for these and other occasional Sunday evening activities and special church services.
